The Team
Basil Santamaria
Manager
Basil has 15 years industry experience. Project management, Cable installation, Cable termination and Testing, Micro trenching, Narrow Trenching, Directional Drilling Including extensive research and design
of blown fibre solutions. Large scale construction projects including, 110 kilometres conduit and cable installation in Haida Gwaii. 75 kilometres of cable along the highway 1 corridor in the lower mainland BC. 25 kilometres of cable placed for Parks Canada in Banff national park. Thousands of kilometres of blown fibre cable installed. Hundreds of Fiber Splice closures built and spliced. Hundreds of hours of OTDR Testing, Troubleshooting and OLTS certifying.
Gabriel Melo
Site Manager
Gabriel immigrated to Canada in 2020. He brings with him 10 Years of experience fiber splicing and cable installation experience. He has worked extensively connecting wind farms on Brazil’s north coast directly for GE.
This includes his work in the data centre design and build ensuring systems are working correctly
and maintaining the generation network.
Gabriel completed his electrical engineering degree in 2009 at the University of Rio Grande de Norte, with additional degrees in wind energy in 2011.
